MindShift is youth educating youth for a healthy planet through working as a high school leadership team to provide a powerful, hands on program that inspires action towards more sustainable lifestyles. It uses an interactive approach to help young people understand humanity's role and impact on the earth while identifying how students can reduce their impact on a personal level. The Wolfville Sustainability Initiative

The Wolfville Sustainability Initiative (WSI) is a 2-year comprehensive sustainable community education and design project for the Town of Wolfville, Nova Scotia. Managed by the Centre for Rural Sustainability and our local partner organizations, the initiative brings sustainability thought and practice to municipal decision-makers, local businesses & organizations, and residents.

The Atlantic Canada Sustainability Initiative (ACSI)

This initiative is a collaborative project designed to build capacity and momentum around sustainability in Atlantic Canada using The Natural Step framework as a guide. Sustainability Partners sign a project charter committing their organizations to taking action on sustainability issues. CRS is one of the coordinating organizations


Wolfville Eco Fair October 27, 2007: this special event was offered as part of the Wolfville Sustainability Initiative (WSI) public education program.
Project C.L.U.E.! an introduction to Project C.L.U.E (Creativity, Leadership, YOUth, and the Environment) - a public education initiative around climate change and sustainability. Also, click here for a recent newspaper clipping.
Wolfville Greenhouse Gas Emission Study 2004 a preliminary greenhouse gas study of the community of Wolfville and Acadia University. The study was completed by the Centre for Rural Sustainability in collaboration with the students of Dr. Soren Bondrup-Nielsen's Introduction to Environmental Science class (PDF - 100 KB)
